The\u00a0Freedom Flotilla<\/a>\u00a0ship\u00a0Al Awda<\/em>\u00a0(The Return), together with\u00a0Ship to Gaza Sweden<\/a>\u00a0vessels\u00a0Freedom<\/em>,\u00a0Falestine<\/em>\u00a0(Palestine) and\u00a0Mairead<\/em>\u00a0(named for Nobel Peace Laureate Mairead Maguire who previously sailed against the blockade) arrive in Amsterdam on\u00a0Thursday May 31 and will be\u00a0docked at until their departure June 2 and 3. A series of events is planned by the Netherlands Gaza Flotilla Committee<\/a>, see their page for details.<\/p>\n

The boats will visit many European ports on their way to challenge the illegal and unjust Israeli-Egyptian blockade of Gaza in late July.<\/p>\n

The Freedom Flotilla is sailing in 2018 for the right to a just future for Palestine. We challenge the blockade of Gaza and demand an end to our governments\u2019 complicity with the blockade, which has created a humanitarian crisis, with civilians lacking clean water, electricity, and medical care.
