Como cineasta, su primer trabajo documental (<i>A Short Film on The\u00a0May 13\u00a0Generation<\/i>) se basa en los acontecimientos hist\u00f3ricos de Singapur en 1954, cuando 800 estudiantes se hicieron cargo de la escuela secundaria china para apoyar a los compa\u00f1eros afectados por el servicio militar. Su siguiente trabajo (1987: <i>Untracing the Conspiracy)<\/i> analiza el arresto, la tortura y el interrogatorio de 22 supuestos conspiradores marxistas por parte de la polic\u00eda secreta de Singapur. El documental fue galardonado como Mejor pel\u00edcula del sudeste asi\u00e1tico en el Freedom Film Festival (Malasia, 2015) y actualmente se est\u00e1 produciendo una versi\u00f3n ampliada de la pel\u00edcula.
