Jan Strömdahl from Sweden is an activist and a sailor. He has previously been a member of the Swedish parliament, representing the Left party (Vänsterpartiet). He has also been the chairman for the public campaign against nuclear power and nuclear weapons in Sweden, and for the Swedish Committee for Western Sahara.
“Sweden has acknowledged Palestine. I want to contribute in a practical political way. That is why I participate in the Freedom Flotilla’s information campaign through Europe and in the attempt to break the inhumane Israeli blockade of Gaza.”
