“The Israeli siege of Gaza that has devastated the two million Palestinians living in what is effectively the world’s largest prison. Israel’s attacks on the people of Gaza make it guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity.The international community has long been demanding an end to this brutality, but governments around the world have time and again failed the Palestinian people in not bringing an end to the Gaza blockade. Where governments fail to act, activists step in. I add my voice to the non-violent direct actions of the activists involved in the Gaza Freedom Flotilla in demanding an end to the siege of Gaza and for the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homes.”
